Leela is 4 years old, spayed and healthy. We adopted her and another, senior dog, at the end of March. After two great months, Leela suddenly attacked the other dog. The other dog required stitches and my daughter (19) who witnessed the attack doesn't feel safe with Leela anymore. I have tried going back to the rescue group we adopted her from, but they haven't had an open space to take her. We participated in an adoption event and Leela didn't like being close to other dogs, and didn't care for a few of the humans that came by to meet her. We've had the two dogs separated since the attack, as we don't want to experience that again. It's been difficult. Leela was about 40 pounds overweight when we adopted her and we've worked off about 10 pounds so far. I know Leela would be the perfect fit for an active person/couple, who has time to give for obedience training. She has been really sweet to us, she's so funny, and has a lot of love to give to the right people!
