He would be great with another large dog as a playmate, but equally happy as the only dog with an active family. If you are looking for a hiking and camping buddy, Munich is your guy! What is my personality like: Munich is a sweet young man who has the attention span of a smashed jelly bean, but has the personality to more than make up for it. He loves everyone and everything, though his size intimidates the cats. He rides well in a car, opting to either lie down or sick his head out the window and let his lips and ears flap in the breeze. He needs some work on a lead, but is ok on it for the most part, until he gets distracted and/or curious about something. He showed no preference for treats, scarfing down anything you give him, but he does take them gently. Munich can be a little vocal when he wants to play. He will play with toys, but again, he has a very short attention span, and will carry them off then drop them after a fashion. He was thrilled to sniff everything in sight. He also climbs right in the water to splash and play. Munich gets along with other dogs, but he needs a dog close to his size, as he tends to forget how big he is. He would do well in either a single or multiple dog home, as long as he's loved and has room to run.
