About Shasta

Adoption Fee: $180
Australian Cattle Dog mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Shasta Shasta is an absolutely gorgeous young dog, who could sure use a loving home. Shasta was owner surrendered on June 27, 2019. We think she's a lovely girl with so much potential. Shasta is an American Blue Heeler mix. She's three years old and weighs 58 pounds. Shasta is very timid and doesn't trust easily. However, once she trusts you she is so loyal, faithful and dedicated to her person, just hoping they'll be good to her back. Shasta tries so hard to please. She learns quickly, follows directions easily and just laps up the attention of a good ear scratch or belly rub. Shasta is very frustrated in the confines of her kennel and longs to be out and with people she likes. She is leashed trained and is easy to walk. Shasta is selective about what dogs she likes. She seems to be afraid of most of them and will go into a defensive posture to keep them away from her. Shasta may do best as an only dog, but we can test for potential adopters. Shasta's behavior may change when out of the kennel and she's able to bask in the steadying hand of love and a family who understands and protects her. If you're looking for a wonderful, beautiful girl to make part of your family, come meet our Shasta. She has so much potential and lives to be someone's best girl. Shasta is spayed, micro-chipped and fully vetted. Call 706-865-4135 for information on additional health services provided as part of the adoption fee.
