He follows humans like they are the best thing in the world and you can tell he's afraid of being left. Time has helped that and eventually, with a family to stand by him, he will forget being dumped and alone. What is my personality like: Brownie loves everyone, though sometimes he's a little shy. He's always happy to see his caregivers, and he loves to show it! He loves all the dogs in his play group, and would probably benefit from a playmate. How do I act when I first meet new people: This boy is a friendly, constant companion that likes to snuggle as soon as he warms up to you (which won't take long at all). He's a sweet boy looking for the home that will never abandon him again. Tips and Tidbits: Brownie is a young dog. Although we don't have an exact birthdate, we think he is around 18 months old so assigned a birthdate of November of 2017. He eats his food at a healthy pace, and gently takes treats from your hand. He won't need grooming, but he will shed. He needs a little work on a leash, but he isn't unmanageable. Brownie loves to be held, and when riding in a car, he likes to be touching someone. He ignored toys in favor of me. House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
