Location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Adoption Fee:$200 Date into Rescue: 5/31/2019 Reason for being in rescue: Carl Jordan was found as a stray and taken to a local animal shelter. CPR pulled him from the local shelter. Special Needs: none noted What kind of home would be best for me: Carl Jordan is a bundle of energy looking for an active lifestyle. He would love a family with middle-aged children who want a dog to play ball and run with. Carl Jordan's breed is a working dog. This boy needs stimulation and a home that understands this. He has lots of energy to burn! What is my personality like: Our caregivers describe Carl Jordan as a dog is toddler trapped in a dogs body. He gets so excited when meeting people, or people talking to he doesn't know whether to jump on them for hugs, whine,or mouth at your hands. He is so funny and has a young soul. We can picture him outside playing tag going on camping trips. He does need to learn his manners, but he is highly treat motivated and just needs someone willing to give him the training. He greets everyone as if he has known them for his entire life. Carl Jordan is fine with the cats, he was very curious with them but gentle. Actually, he is pretty curious about everything he comes into contact with and loves to sniff things out. If you are out walking him you can bet his nose is to the ground for the most part. He does know how to sit and does so well. Walking on a leash is a whole other adventure. This boy needs leash work! Despite his lack of manners, he is a blast to have around and has the sweetest personality! He loves his belly rubs and really REALLY loves to give kisses.Does not care for toys yet. Would much rather interact and play with humans. In a car he needs to be either in a crate or secured with a seat belt because he does not sit still. And those eyes.... who could resist those eyes:! How do I act when I first meet new people: Friendly. Carl Jordan never meets a stranger! Tips and Tidbits: Estimated birthdate - 05/20/2011 House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
