Ava is an 8.5 year old female Chihuahua mix that came to us from the MASH unit. The MASH unit takes in dogs from hoarding situations, puppy mills, and animals seized for abuse/lack of care. We aren't sure of her life before she came to us, but we know it must not have been that great. Ava was very shy and did not want to be touched when she came to us. After working with her and being around our staff and volunteers, she is still pretty shy but learning to being held and loved on. She is great with other dogs (bigger dogs unknown) and needs to go to a home with other dogs. She's hoping to find a loving patient family with other dogs that will work with her and understand her past. Ava is not house broken and will need a home that understands she may not be able to be trained. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, chipped, vet checked, comes with 30 days of free insurance, and comes with a free vet visit. Her adoption fee is $160. To meet her, or more information, please contact her foster mom, Patti, at 602-703-2580.
