About Butch

This good looking boy is Butch! He is a 1 1/2 year old, 22 pound Schnauzer mix. Butch was found on the streets as a stray and no one came to claim him. It's hard to understand why his previous owner wouldn't look for him because he is extremely social and full of love! Butch is a very sweet and affectionate boy! He has a lot of energy and follows his foster mom everywhere. Butch loves to jump in his foster mom's lap and get petted and he loves to give lots of kisses. He should be in a home with an active family because of his playful nature. We have not tested him with kids but his foster mom says she thinks he would be great based on his personality and loving nature. Butch gets along great with other dogs and he is not a barker, in fact, he hasn't barked since being in his foster home. He isn't leash trained so a fenced yard is a must for him to run and play. Butch is currently doing well with his potty training. He has had a wellness check and did really well getting his shots and his nails cut. He is now up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Happy boy Butch is all ready to meet you!
