About Max

Hi everyone! My name is Max! I'm a little different from the other dogs here at SSRR, I'm a Doberman/Rottie mix! But I'm just as loving and loyal as Rotties come, just with sleeker lines I admit it takes me a moment to get comfortable. My life was kind of rough before SSRR saved me and I need someone who will be a little patient with me so we can learn to trust each other together. Once we're buds though, let's be buds for life! I love tummy rubs, giving kisses, and sitting in the lap of my person. With a little patience, and some training, from you we could be great! I have some selling points you should hear about! I am a truly silly dude who loves to have a good time! I am crate trained AND house trained. I am great at feeding time and wait politely in my crate when it's time to eat! I do great on a leash and am super friendly to all the dogs and people we meet on walks! I love to play with other playful dogs of all sizes and I know basic commands. Overall I'm a well rounded dog! Ok It's not all sunshine and rainbows, I don't do to well with cats, I haven't spent much time around them but that's because I'm a little TOO interested in them. Also, I've been known to eat my bedding and soft toys so it is best not to leave them with me when I have to be crated or left alone unsupervised. Well that about says it all!
