About Jordan

Adoption Fee: $275
Border Collie
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Pal's Place would love to introduce you to Jordan a very sweet, affectionate and intelligent dog looking for a loving home. Jordan is around 2 years old and is a petite 25 pounds. She was rescued from an open-intake shelter in Kentucky and found her way to Pal's Place. Jordan appears to be a purebred Border Collie but we can not say for certain since she was originally a stray. Jordan can be a bit bashful when meeting new people but she warms up very quickly. She loves attention, loves to cuddle and loves to give gentle kisses. She is also a bit camera shy, so her pics are not the best, but she is a very pretty little girl in person! Jordan came from a very rural area in KY, was most likely a farm dog, wasn't on a leash much and didn't see a lot of traffic/activity. She is now in a foster home in Chicago where she's getting used to the sights and sounds of the big city, learning to walk on a lead and all sorts of other fun dog activities but big city living is probably not going to be the best permanent living situation for her. Jordan gets a little braver every day and we think with just a little extra time and TLC she'll be the confident dog we know she wants to be. Border Collies are extremely high energy and intelligent dogs that do best in very active, experienced homes. Please read up on the breed as much as possible before deciding to add a BC to your home. Jordan is being fostered with several other dogs and gets along well with them for the most part but relentlessly and almost obsessively tries to herd them throughout the house and yard which can irritate the other dogs at times. We feel Jordan is going to do best in a more rural or suburban home where she can have an outlet for her energy and instincts in an experienced Border Collie home. She would love a job to do! Jordan is in a foster home and she can be seen by appointment only after an application has been submitted and approved. Her adoption fee to the rescue is $275. This helps to cover her spay, microchip, and vaccines. For more info or for an application please email [email protected] 'ۢJordan's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover her spay, initial vaccines, initial worming, and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Jordan from euthanasia. 'ۢ Please email [email protected] for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!
