About Fluffy

Fluffy is a ~1.5yr old male GSD, Dutch Shepherd, Malinois mix confirmed by DNA test. Fluffy is currently in training to work on his reactivity. * The Good: Fluffy has great hunt drive, super high toy drive, he has no problems with dark spaces or loud unexpected noises. He loves car rides and is confident and driven getting out at new locations. He has no problems with unusual surfaces and even shows well on a rubble pile. He has plenty of drive to be a phenomenal sport or detection partner for the right handler. Fluffy is also very well behaved in the house and does best just hanging out loose with the family. He does crate when I'm gone but will protest being crated when he can hear people up and about in the house. He's been good with cats and even has been loose with chickens without any problems. He is also good with other dogs but he's not always aware of other dogs' warnings to back off. He's a typical right at your heel, snuggly shepherd with his family. The not so good: Fluffy is not a fan of strange people and is especially not a fan of strange people surprising him. He's reactive to people getting out of cars unexpectedly or being around the side of a building or bush that he wasn't expecting. He's very responsive to his handler and will settle quietly with very little effort but does continue to side eye the stranger. He's not always reactive to people, primarily when surprised. Fluffy's adoption fee is $350, he is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines prior to adoption. While he's here we will keep working on his reactivity to strange people. Videos of hunt drive are available on request. Fluffy is a really nice dog and is very easy to train and he's going to be a really fun dog for the right handler.
