About Remy

Let me take a moment to introduce myself, my name is Remy and I am 11 years young. It has come to my attention that I need to find me a nice Furever family to enjoy my golden years with. Don't let my age fool you as I am still very active, my foster mom says I have good hops. I'm not really sure why she always tells me that after I jump over the baby gate but she does. She also mentioned I would need a secure fence because if I get too bored in the backyard I like to go find new friends in the neighborhood and explore the great outdoors. Let me tell ya about my prior job duties, I am a retired therapy dog where I spent my free time going to nursing homes and getting lots of love and attention from all the residents there. Retired life is great and I love to go on as many walks and outings with my people as I can. I love car rides and make an excellent copilot. I like dogs and cats are cool too but please no little dogs, they tend to get on my nerves with all that yapping. I mean seriously can't a guy just enjoy retirement in peace. Kids are ok with me too, I really like the ones with those 'southern manners'. They really know how to treat an old fella like me. I don't like to share my bones or food so if you will just feed me in my kennel that would be great So I don't need to worry about having to share my food with anyone else. I would really like my new family to be at home with me during the day but I understand that someone has to bring home the bacon( so I can eat it) but don't worry I mind my manners while you are gone and will just lay on the couch and protect my home from those pesky mailmen and delivery guys knocking on the door when you are not there. So all I'm looking for is a quiet home, going on adventures and lots of love.
