About Dallas

Doberman Pinscher
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Dallas comes to us from a family that needs to find him a new home. He is approximately 2 years old, and weighs around 60-70 pounds and is full grown. He looks to be a full bred Dobie, but we don't do DNA. We are looking for a family for him that will give him the enrichment, activity and companionship that he loves. He's smart, and is going to be a fun dog for someone. Due to his size and temperament, we are looking for a home with kids or grandkids over 15 years of age. A quieter home that can and will let him decompress and take in his surroundings. He is on medication to help him adjust to being out shelter and once he is comfortable in your home, he should be weaned off. He is crate and potty trained. He is good with other dogs, but may feel at times insecure about his resources, so we suggest a separate area for him to be fed. He's a beautiful dog that has a big heart, and will flourish in the right home. Is it yours? We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. We are never sure about breed because we do not do DNA (we make our best guess), so if that is important to you, this dog may not be the right choice for you. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a dog. As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You may need to come back to us to complete shots, spay or neuter, hw test. You will receive 6 mths of HW preventative. You will receive a free bag of premium puppy food, as well as a gift card from Choice Pet Market if you live in one of the designated zip codes . Training is MANDATORY and will be scheduled at a later date and place.
