ISO foster home or furever home. Micky showed up one day with his brother. Both were semi-feral, being dumped off somewhere and having to fend for himself, it showed. He was so thin and scared, yet so hungry, he allowed the care-giver to pet him as he was eating. A few days after his surgery, his brother took off, yet Micky decided he liked being a pet. Other cats pick on him and he is afraid of a dog running at him. Otherwise, he get along with the foster home's dog and the younger female cats. However, he prefers being just the only cat so he doesn't have to share your lap. You couldn't ask for a sweeter non demanding kittycat. His name Micky because of the 'Micky Mouse hat' ears and Kitzle in German is an endearing term like 'Honey, Sweetie, Baby' etc. And he is all of that. Even though his DNA shows FIV since he was a year old, he is now 8 1/2 yrs and is in perfect health. Would do great in a home with 1 to lots of people who would dote on him. He is a gentleman and very seldom gets on any furniture besides the bed or couch. He needs a foster home for up to 6 months. His owner will be homeless by Sept. 30th. If she is still homeless AFTER 6 months, she will allow Micky to be adopted.If able to foster, must reside in Kent or Sussex Co. Delaware and allow visitation. When she is able to have him, again, the adoption fee will be refunded.
