About Parker

Parker is a 5 year old female Chihuahua mix weighing approximately 10 pounds. This little girl has been through so much in her life. At one time she had a loving family but they could no longer care for her so she was given to a relative who had big dogs. One of the dogs repeatedly tried to kill her so they surrendered this terrified skinny girl to us. She was trembling for days and you could not even go near her or she would bite you out of fear. She has gotten so much better but seems to be afraid of men. She also probably was choked because she trembles when you first go to put a leash on her. When we first got her, you could not even put a leash on her so she has come a long way. It hurts us to even try to imagine what this poor girl endured. In spite of everything, she is a happy friendly girl but you do have to move slowly when approaching her. She gets along with the other dogs but is food aggressive so has to be fed separately. Her adoption donation is $250 which includes her spay, vaccinations & microchip. She has the potential to be a loving companion if just given the chance. She has endured so much and deserves all the love she once had. We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida.
