'After almost a year of waiting, I still haven't found my forever family. C'mon, what gives. Everyone says that I'm such a pretty kitty... My name is Monica and 9-10 year old cat that came to SVASC after my sister and I were abandoned. We were terrified of the shelter and didn't know who we could trust. With a little love (and some help from treats) we started to gain confidence. My sister has found her forever home and now it's just me. I'm a super sweet gal and love getting attention! I love head scratches and getting all of the pets. I've bounced around a good bit since my arrival at SVASC, so I do take some time to adjust to a new home. Once I settle in, I'm queen of the castle, though. And since I'm the queen, I would like to be treated as such! I'm not too keen on sharing the spotlight and so I would do best as an only cat. I don't get on too well with dogs either. i would do okay in a home with older kids (12+), though. My adoption fee is WAIVED to an approved adopter.
