About SNOW/ROKA

Courtesy Posting: URGENT PLEASE!! RESCUE INTEREST - FOSTER NEEDED!!! Snow/Roka - A5271392 Downey Shelter, Downey, CA Her 48 hour warning already passed, Roka was apparently ALREADY brought into the euthanasia room yesterday (6/24) to be killed because no rescue stepped up for this sweet slightly older pitite girl who had a URI that has finished her meds. The only reason she seems to be alive is because they found a chip on her- and her real name is Snow! So, the shelter has to notify the owner of Snow. So the poor girl now just waits 10 days to die- or even less if the owner tells them they do not want her, OMG. Is there no rescue willing to save this dear friendly girl, or a foster or adopter that would be willing to open their home before, so she can live? One rescue contacted me they may have interest IF we found a foster up in LA or near the Antelope Valley. Roka/Snow is friendly to people and other dogs. She is listed at age 8, could be slightly older. She weighs only 46 lbs, is already spayed, and has an adorable brindle coat. Shelter volunteers and people who have met her describe this dog as very friendly and sweet. She is already on antibiotics to treat the URI or even done.
