About Sasha

I am in need of finding a new home for my 3 year old pitbull. She is a sweet girl named Sasha, recently spayed, current on shots needs a booster in 3 weeks), healthy, and has a good temperment but is super scared of firework season. My other half rescued her 2.5 years ago and loved her as HIS dog until about a year later when she got close to me...I fed her, loved on her, etc. This made him lose interest and I have spent the last year trying to convince him that she is a permanent part of our family. But also in this past year I had a baby, and really he doesnt want her either. Life is hard when you are an abusive, depressed alcoholic and you make bad decisions. He is making several bad ones now and so we are getting a divorce and I am moving in July. The place I am moving into (like most apartments) will not take a pit bull and honestly I'm barely keeping my head about water with work, the baby, and still trying to provide solely for our home and my 2 stepkids. I am terrified of putting her out on Facebook because of bad guys who collect pits for fighting. I can't afford the $$$ to surrender her to a shelter. No friends or family need a new pet right now. And on a weekly basis I have to fight with the jerk I stupidly chose about why he can't just drop her off in the hills or something equally hurtful. Google searches for rescues basically tell me I am a bad person for not making a life commitment to this dear pup, but I am trying to keep my baby and myself alive and functioning at this point.
