Rusty Boy is a big, floofy boy. Best guess is cattledog/husky mix. While he weighs in at only 50 lbs, he is very floofy and tall, so appears much larger than 50 lbs. He loves everyone, both people and dogs. He likes to do his daily activities with others and not alone. (Eating, going potty, etc.) We are working on potty training, crate training, and general manners but he's improving extremely quickly. He's smart, food motivated, and he does try hard to be a good boy. He's essentially just a giant puppy, so he will need a little work on what is appropriate for a large dog to do. (ie. no leash pulling, no face pawing/mouthing, etc.) He is still a bit mouthy when he plays so may not be the best with younger/smaller kids. He has become fast friends with his foster siblings and would play with them all day long if they let him. He also loves chewing on bones and wrestling/playing with his foster people. It would be good for him to have a home with lots of stuff to do; fur siblings to play with, lots of toys, fun walks, etc. If you think Rusty Boy would be a good fit for your family, please apply to adopt and we'll contact you ASAP! He will be a really good boy for you.
