We do our best to screen these dogs, but make no guarantees regarding the information posted.** Name: Gunner Age: 7 - 8 years Breed: Treeing Walker Coonhound / Basset Sex: Male (confirmed neutered) Location: Charleston, SC Vet Info: Gunner is confirmed neutered. He is up to date on vaccines, and received his rabies and distemper vaccines on 3/25/19. He was heartworm negative on 3/25/19 and is on Heartgard. Gunner weighs about 75 pounds. Gunner is completely blind in one eye due to glaucoma, and it's likely he'll shortly be blind in his other eye. Owner Info: Gunner is an indoor dog with run of the house. He is housebroken and leash trained. Gunner doesn't really know any commands, but he's laid back and friendly and fun to be with! His owner writes, 'He is super laid back and friendly with all people and dogs, haven't really taught him commands because he mainly just likes to sniff when we are outside. He will come when I call'. Gunner is a sweet fellow and is good with people of all ages, male and female dogs, and cats. He is not possessive of toys, treats, or food and has never bitten or snapped. Gunner's owner feels he adapts well to new situations and writes, 'He is a homebody and would adjust well and quickly.' Other than his glaucoma, Gunner's owner tell's us he is 'super healthy.' Gunner's owner wants us to know what a sweet boy he is! 'Gunner is a super sweet laid back hound dog, loves to go for his walks and sniff, other than that mostly lies around and sleeps. He is very patient, will wait to go for his walk in the morning if I am in the middle of something I have to finish. A very good boy!!!!'
