About Bella R and Apollo

Meet Bella R and Apollo! They are a bonded mom and son Yorkie pair. They came to the rescue after their owner died and they had no one to take them in. Bella (the lighter one) is 7 years old and weighs 9.5 pounds. Her son Apollo is 3 years old and weighs 11 pounds. They like to be close to their person and near each other at all times. They are both snugglers who find ways to lap-sit on the couch by day and snuggle next to you on the bed by night. Bella and Apollo are sweet, loving dogs who depend on each other for confidence. They like other dogs but prefer to be with each other. They were recently adopted but returned as they showed a tendency to stick together against the resident dog in the house and were a little too overwhelming for it in the end. They have not been tested with cats or kids. They are house broken and leash trained. They like being outside but they need a fenced yard. They like small, stuffed, squeaky toys and play with them occasionally. They are healthy with normal energy levels and are equally content to sit on a lap or to explore the back yard together.
