About Jimmy

Jimmy, a scruffy little terrier/mix, is around 2 years old who's looking for a woman to call his own because he's afraid of men. He's little and weighs 15 pounds. Jimmy was found as a stray and was taken to a shelter. From there he came into rescue, was adopted then returned. He didn't do well with the husband. He loves other dogs and is very playful. Jimmy is perfect around my cats; he completely ignores them. His disposition is very sweet and in the evening he loves to snuggle on the couch. Then he'll sleep through the night without a peep. Jimmy was not well socialized prior to coming into rescue. He's very shy around people he doesn't know and bonds to one person. I don't think he'll do well around other people in the home but he'll adore the one person he bonds to. He'll probably do best with an adopter who lives alone. We'd love a home that already has a dog. If you have a dog that needs a buddy, that would be great. Jimmy is very playful with my dogs. He needs an adopter who will take him for walks (he loves walks) so he can see the neighbors and continue getting used to people. No small kids. A fenced yard is a requirement, no exceptions.
