About Cockatiels

Bert & Ernie are a pair of bonded male cockatiels. Originally surrendered via ACO. Once settled in, their true personalities started to shine! They love singing, playing in their cage, and eating chop in the morning. Ernie loves to come out of his cage with some millet coaxing but Bert usually stays inside. Ernie is an explorer and will attempt to take flight even though their wings are clipped. Easy to pick up and return to cage. Foster mom says it's a joy to listen to with their tunes and whistling, and fun to watch when they are quiet. Bert loves bath-time and being sung to. They have made tremendous progress with hand training and are improving every day! Cockatiels live for 20+ years and are native to Australia.
