�'��GUMBALL was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas where dogs have just 3 dogs to be saved and transported to the rescue in Sebec, Maine. GUMBALL is neutered, core vaccines, rabies, heartworm & tick disease tested negative, de-wormed, monthly preventatives and micro-chipped. He has an estimated date of birth of 25 November 2018.. He is listed as an Pointer Mix. We have no way of knowing the exact breed, it is up to individuals to decide what breed they think is most likely. GUMBALL is a handsome,goofy, fun, playful, energetic love-bug. He loves other dogs although he had to learn how to play as he didn't realize his size as he started to grow. However, he is responsive to other dogs and will play to the other dogs size. He is very friendly and loves everyone he meets, he does get excited and so jumping up will need to be worked on, but he is a very responsive boy and training would be fun for both human and Gumball. Gumball is a bird dog and so he needs an active family, he needs a family that can give him he lifestyle that he needs, he needs lots of exercise, mental stimulation and ongoing training. He has been at the rescue since June and really needs a great family who can give him what he needs. I feel he would be great with children as long, of course, as both he and children are taught to respect each others space. He has never been aggressive in anyway with any one or any dogs, he is just a happy, goofy, go-lucky boy. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO COMMENT HOW SHE WILL BE AROUND CATS OR LIVESTOCK. GUMBALL is available for adoption for a REDUCED adoption fee of US $100 Canadian adopters need to know that customs charge 15% taxes when entering into Canada. This fee is not negotiable and is used to cover the rescue costs of pulling, vetting, health certificate, transport from Texas to Maine, monthly preventatives, supplements, food and anything else that is needed. Sebec is located just outside the towns of Dover-Foxcroft and Milo (approx 8 miles) and approx 45 miles from Bangor. There are also lots of hotels, motels, pet friendly accommodations and wonderful camp-sites for the more adventurous families and what a great way to get to know your new best friend.
