About Maggie

My name is Maggie, and I am around a 3 year old Siberian husky mix. I was found after months of people trying to help me in a wooden area. Thankfully the people that found me, captured me and were able to get me to the shelter to see if my owners came for me, no one did. I had been was wandering for well over a month, and I am not sure really if I was lost or someone abandoned me. Once at the shelter, I was rescued and sent to a foster home where I feel safe and loved. Because of how I was found, I am very skittish but extremely lovey. I love seeking attention, love to cuddle and give lots of kisses. It's the best feeling to know that I am loved. I was very underweight, but I eat well now and I'm filling up nicely. I am scared of walking on a leash and freak out a little when I go for my walk BUT with time and consistency I know I will only get better. My ideal home is one that has other dogs, I learn a lot from them and truly feel comfortable and relaxed knowing they have my back. I need a very patient family that understands this is how I am because of no fault of my own. I have to learn how to be potty trained but my foster siblings are showing me. I still don't like my crate, but I do go in it when I see the gate open. There is nothing more that I want, than a family that will have patience with me and love me, there is a lot of love in me to give them. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, and micro-chipped.
