About Angel

Angel is very sweet and loving to those she trusts and is a great snuggle dog, she also is active and likes to walk and get outside. She does have some separation anxiety though and would benefit from another dog. She is 7 yrs. old, she's a smooth red. She's about 14 lbs. She is good with all dogs but would be better with just one companion dog as she doesn't like to compete for attention. She bonds to her person and wants to be with them all the time. She is ok left alone as long as shes with another dog. She's good with cats. She is potty trained, and uses a doggy door well. Not a big barker. She LOVES walks and being active. She needs someone who is willing to work with her quirks and who has the time to help her with her behaviors. She will be possessive of her people and territory so she is defenisve when she first meets new people/dogs, she will bark and growl, but she does not bite. Her current foster is workign on her behavior and she is making progress, but she would be better suited to a new home who has dog training experience or is willing to continue her training. This is a typical behavior in a dominant/alpha dog and easily fixed with constant training.
