A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Renton, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to cover medical bills. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Chase QuickPay, PayPal, or cash. Waltz & Matilda, available for adoption together only on 7/2/19. Waltz & Matilda, Waltz is 4 months old & 7 lbs, Matilda is 2 years old & 8.5 lbs both possibly Carin Terrier/ schnauzer both neutered & spayed, heart worm negative, dewormed, microchipped, up to date on shots & Waltz has 2 dew claws removed. Will the madness & cruelty ever end? Beautiful Waltz & Matilda were just abandoned & thrown away like rubbish on the streets of CA. How anyone could do that to these 2 precious little angels is mind boggling. Clearly they were mum & child & thank goodness that while they were on the streets they stayed together. Thankfully a wonderful lady & her family saved these beautiful babies from being hit & killed by a car & searched & searched for their families but no one ever came for them & she asked could we help. We are so beyond grateful to her for saving them. It was quite obvious from the get go that Matilda was Waltz's beloved mum & also it was discovered quite quickly that Matilda was going into heat again or had just been in heat. Matilda & Waltz are nothing but a bundle of pure love & happiness & love, love love to play with each other continually. They must be adopted together & we will not separate them. They both adore being picked up & held & cuddled but will look for each other if someone is holding one without the other. They sleep together in a crate or will sleep in a bed together with their toys as long as they are together they are so very happy. They are getting used to being bathed because we don't know if they had ever experienced a bath before. They both love to eat & we think having toys for the first time is new to them also. We can't say enough about how lovely this mum & son are. They are such a dream pair. Waltz & Matilda ride beautifully in the car & enjoys a good car ride, they also walk already so well on a harness & leash but are still being taught. Waltz & Matilda have been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & they are currently fostered with other dogs but must be adopted together & kept together as they truly love each other & look for each other. Waltz is roughly 7 lbs, 4 months old, perhaps a carin terrrier/schnauzer mix, male, he is neutered by our wonderful vets, microchipped, up to date on his shots, heart worm negative & dewormed & had back dew claws removed. Matilda is roughly 8.5 lbs, 2 years old, perhaps a Carin terrier/schnauzer mix, female, she is spayed by our vets, microchipped, up to date on shots, heart worm negative & dewormed. Waltz & Matilda have been around cats since being in the rescue but it's always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had them around small children so we do not recommend small children & it's always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Waltz & Matilda was conceived so we do not know who their parents were & it's always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think their breed is. As with all of our rescues & Waltz & Matilda's friends they will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Waltz & Matilda potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. Our dogs are looking for their right forever homes now. Please do not contact us asking to adopt one without the other, they will only be adopted together into a loving forever home. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them
