About Layla

Layla is a sweet natured 9-year-old buff Cocker girl whose owner went into a nursing home and was no longer able to care for her. She gets along great with other dogs and cats and loves to be around people. Layla is a quiet girl who is inquisitive of her surroundings and enjoys the occasional game of chase-the-lizard. She is a little on the heavy side and a home that will take her on daily walks is highly desirable. When Layla came to us, she was found to be heartworm positive but is presently undergoing treatment (at FCCR's expense) for that and is expected to make a full recovery.
