This special senior is Queenie. She is a 10-12 year old, 12 pound Chihuahua. Queenie is an EXTREMELY sweet and happy girl. She gets along with absolutely everyone and is great with other small dogs and cats. She does OK with older kids but younger ones can be too much for her. She was recently adopted but was returned after it was clear she was not going to settle with the younger child in the house. She can also be nervous around big dogs. Queenie is housebroken and pad trained and sleeps in the big bed with her foster family or in an open door crate if she chooses. She does have a cough due to a collapsing trachea. It's often called a reverse sneeze because that's what it sounds like when she coughs. It is a condition which is common in small dogs and is manageable with daily medication. Queenie is a little overweight, despite not eating a lot. With her trachea issues she can't really exercise or get too excited so a very healthy diet is important for her. She is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative and microchipped with a lifetime registration. She has also recently had a dental. Queenie is a sweetheart who deserves a loving home where she can spend her golden years in peace and tranquility being loved on and spoiled.
