About Gibson

Adoption Fee: $125
Pit Bull mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Have you been searching high and low to find the most handsome boy ever? Good new! You've found him! Gibson is ready to leave his past behind and get right into being your best bud. Gibson arrived at SVASC after he was found tied to a tree with some of his things. We know how sad that story is, but we're planning to help make it up to him by finding him a fantastic forever family to call his own. Gibson is working really hard on his leash manners and is getting better every day. With regular walks, he'll be a pro at leash walking in no time! Gibson appears to be house-trained; he keeps his kennel clean and never leaves a big mess, but he may still need some time to readjust to living in a home after spending time in a shelter. After everything that Gibson has been through, he would be happiest as an only pet. He's a very sweet boy, but just prefers to have all of the attention to himself. He'd also do best in a home without any kitties. Gibson is good with kids, but is still learning that jumping up on people isn't okay, so a home with children over the age of 8 is best. He loves to run and play and would be very happy in a home with older kids that could play with him! We don't think that Gibson has had the easiest life. While he is a very sweet, loving boy, he does scare very easily. He may take some time to warm up to you and learn to trust you. If you move to fast or if you are too loud, Gibson will hunker down and piddle, like he's expecting something bad. He just needs someone that understands that his life may not have been easy and that he might need a little extra love going forward. Can you make this next chapter of Gibson's life the best? Adopt him today! Gibson's adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter. For more information on Gibson, please give us a call at (540) 943-5142.
