About Chip

Chip is between 6 and 8 years old. This little Yorkie weighs 8 lbs and is great with other dogs and cats. It can take him a few minutes to warm up to new people and he needs an experienced owner. He was returned to us by his previous adopter after 4 months due to behavioral issues. It was explained to us that he growls when told what to do, is stubborn and tried to snap a few times. However,... he has bonded with his care giver and has never shown that type of behavior with her. We guess it just takes the right person and patience! He hasn't had the best life before he came to us. He does have a few small potty accidents in the house which so typical for the breed but is crate trained and will learn quickly. He was abandoned by his previous dad at his friend's house after leaving him all alone for days at the time outside in the yard and then just never came back for him. After almost a year the friend decided to finally find him a forever home. Chip loves walks and exploring and would love someone who takes him on regular strolls through the neighborhood. We do not suggest small children in the home as he is ore comfortable in a low traffic home but he also likes to go for car rides. He is good being taken out to different places and travels very well. If you would like to meet Chip, please send us a message in order to receive an application. Only via e mail can you receive the proper forms directly from us. Any other applications can't be accepted. His adoption fee is $ 350 which includes all vaccines, hearworm test, neuter and micro hip. Our adoption fees are not negotiable!
