Eternal sunshine, Shelly! Hi there I'm Shelly! I'm a sweet 2-year-old, 45 lb, spayed female Pitbull/Beagle mix who came to TAP from the SD Humane Society. A little bit more about where I came from, I was turned in when a good Samaritan found me and the great people of SDHS loved and cared for me for a few months. But because I am blind in one eye and had a doggie virus called TVT (all treated now!) they were having a hard time finding me a home and turned to the good people at The Animal Pad to help a girl out. From then on, I was so lucky that my foster family showered me with more love and care. I'm proud to say that I am completely bathroom trained! On the other hand, I'm progressing with crate and leash training day by day. Even though I've had a ruff past, I do not let that or my one-eyed-ness get me down! I may have been told once or twice that I am the epitome of a happy puppy! I am 'technically' an adult, but I love like a baby. I love to cuddle and give kisses to my hoomans. I am a relaxed, easy-going, and sometimes lazy girl. But I can also be crazy, fun, and energetic. My favorite activities are watching Netflix next to my family and taking walks. If you love to walk, I will make a great walking partner! I can make anyone's day better with my puppy silliness and great smile! Even though I am still working on socializing with dogs, I can tell that my foster is amazed by all my hard work. I really try! Also, a random fact is that I haven't met any kitties or kids yet. I am a ball of sunshine and will add drops of sunshine in anyone's life! I'm looking for a home where I will be adored and gets a lot of playtime. Getting lots of walks will be the best and a yard will help me! My adoption fee is $250 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
