About Lexi

Hi everbody, my name is Lexi! I'm a beautiful, stable, and playful 4-year-old Pit Bull, Bull Terrier Mix, and my girlie figure has me at a perfect 55 lbs. Due to some unfortunate situations that are not my fault and beyond my control I'm looking for a new forever home. I think I'm pretty awesome if I do say so myself so let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm house broken and even though I'm crate-trained I sleep and hang out in the house on my doggy bed, since I haven't had the need to be crated for some time now. Some of my all-time favorite things to do are chasing birds that fly high in the sky. Riding in the car, and leaving special one of a kind doggy artwork on your windows with my nose. Pretty impressive if I do say so myself. I love giving lots of kisses and of course, who doesn't love belly rubs? I know I love them! I love games and one of my favorites is always a good friendly game of tug of war; I usually hold on to my rope until my human gives up as I tire them out. I also enjoy a good game of hide and seek. I always find the treats my family hides for me to find. My dream family will have a nice big yard for me to run in and a special someone who likes to take long walks and will teach me lots of new tricks. I currently know how to sit, stay, lay down, high five and when I pull just say heel and I will slow down. I love lots of attention and even though I have been the only dog in my home I can get along with other dogs as long as a proper introduction is given. When I get excited, I like to jump so older kids would be best as I might be too much for the small toddlers. But with that said, with some extra training I know I can learn to stop that jumpy behavior. I passed my evaluation like a champ and the trainer said I will make someone a wonderful companion.
