Looking for that ray of sunshine in your life? Look no further, Linda (#A5270797) is here, and she is looking for a home NOW! In the volunteers' hearts, she already won the Most Amazing Personality Award. Her happiness is contagious. From sitting in the kennel you can't tell, Linda is just one of the shelter dogs with a sad face crying, but once she's out, her smile goes through the roof! A5270797 Linda is a sporty 2-year-old white spayed female Pit Bull and Dogo Argentino mix who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray on April 15th. Weighing 55 lbs, Linda is a bright athletic girl who really needs someone who will exercise her every day and let her chill and relax indoors afterward as part of the family. Linda would be an ideal running partner once she's had a little more practice and training on leash, and she would love an active family that likes to play outside. Our volunteers recommend an experienced big dog owner for Linda because her exuberance and strength require her handler to pay attention and be able to keep up with her. Linda is curious about other dogs and pops into a play bow so she might be a good companion for another energetic big dog. She already knows sit and is ready to learn the rest of the basics. Our volunteers recommend middle school/teens and up so they can be part of the fun of playing and training with her. Affectionate and happy, Linda will be a fantastic companion once she's getting positive reinforcement and encouragement from a person or family ready to make a lifetime commitment to a big dog with a big heart.
