About Posie

Introducing, Posie! She is a 7-8 year old Pomeranian who weighs about 9-10 pounds. Posie came to us from a hoarding situation and did not have much socialization with her prior owner. As a result she is not used to being around people and is shy at first meeting. She is very sweet natured and friendly though, so she soon settles in. She wants to be loved on, it just takes some time and patience for her to warm up to new people. Once she is used to you, she loves her back and chest rubbed. Posie appears to be housebroken and she uses the pet door to go outside now she is comfortable with it. She is good with all sized dogs and cats but has not been tested with small children. Given she is so timid, older kids would work better for her. Posie is a very sweet girl that will just need someone willing to give her some time. She is up to date on shots, heartworm negative and microchipped with a lifetime registration.
