About Cooper

Cooper is actually a Maremma. That breed is not available to list on this site! He is supposed to be a purebred, but maybe he has some more LGD breeds mixed in. Cooper has had two other homes. His last owners thought he could fend for himself and just turned him out..or dumped him! He was picked up by the authorities after he had been roaming for about 3 weeks. At that time, he came here! He is under weight right now. He is friendly with people, cats, sheep and goats. He is not good with other dogs, and NOT good about going on car rides. He is quiet in the kennel, and walks on a leash...reasonably well for his breed and purpose. He hasn't been digging in his kennel either.
