About Karma

Karma is a sensitive girl who is about 3 years old. She is affectionate and outgoing, but can be shy of being fussed with by people she doesn't know. If you handle her gently and give her treats, her heart will be yours in no time. She is well behaved, knows commands and takes treats nicely. While at the shelter she has done well with other dogs who are calm and respectful like her. She tends to bond closely with her people which can make her protective of my home and family. This is why she was returned to the shelter, she was too protective of my new home and family. She needs a low traffic home that doesn't have a lot of visitors. She can also be reactive on leash walks with her owner to other dogs, bicycles some people, and especially Skateboarders. She is very strong and could use more leash training. Her foster mom says she is house trained and crate trained. Karma enjoys chew toys, car rides, lying in the sun and napping. Her adoption fee has been PREPAID by a very generous donor!
