MINNY IN NC WANTS TO FORGET THE PAST AND MOVE ON TO HER NEW LIFE WITH YOU! When I first came to the shelter she was called Skinny Minny because she was so thin. My people left me alone to fend for myself and I didn't fare well. Thankfully a good samaritan brought me to a shelter and from there I was rescued and placed in a boarding kennel with other rescued pups. We eat 2 times a day and always have water and one another's companionship so it's not so bad. The kennel workers have been so kind and nice and caring, taking me for walks, and giving me lots of pets and belly rubs and yummie treats and healthy foods. Every day they tell me how pretty I am... no one calls me skinny minny anymore... they call me Pretty Minny! I've been here for a while, and now I'm an obedience school graduate. Yup that's right I know all my commands and love to please. Anyone who takes me can talk to my trainer and she'll tell you all I know and how to continue my training. I'm not only smart! I'm super sweet, affectionate, a wee bit shy at first, but friendly and devoted after a slow introduction with friendly people, dogs and cats too. Just 2 years old, and about 45 lbs, I am a lovely mix of hound, terrier and lab. If you believe the best is yet to come and wants to share it all with me, please leave a message below. My adoption fee is $180.00 if you can pick me up up. My rescue will transport me out of state to the right adopter. A $100 transport fee applies. IF YOU WANT MORE INFO ABOUT ME AND CHP'S ADOPTION PROCESS, please send us a message via the below form. Tell us about little about yourself including where you live, current family and pet composition and why you believe you would be a good fit for this pup, etc. We will send you an adoption application to complete and return to us. Once we receive your app, a rescue volunteer will contact you to discuss your app, answer any questions and next steps. We hope we can help you find your next best friend and thank you for adopting and saving a life! 'The greatness of a nation ... can be judged by the way its animals are treated.' Gandhi
