About Margot

Black Mouth Cur mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Margot does have a chicken allergy. She loves to play ball more than anything and is the biggest love bug! Back story: Margot was dropped off in March of 2018 and left by her 'owners' at the BOARDING kennel that I work at here in Richmond, Texas. She was originally some man's dog who recently got engaged. The fianc̩ of the owner dropped Margot off at the kennel to 'stay a few days'. As she is signing paperwork, she's complaining about how Margot ruined her seats in her car with her muddy paws and how she's not a very good dog and blah blah blah. She then proceeds to tell us that she 'promises to pick her back up and isn't going to just leave her here'. So a few days go by and she calls us to tell us that she doesn't want Margot anymore...So we kept her here at the kennel until November 2018 when I decided to take her home. She stayed with me until February of this year. We already have 5 cats and 2 other dogs at my parents house, ONE of which she did not get along with, nor the cats. So my mom makes me bring her back to the kennel where she has been ever since.. I created a very strong bond with Margot over the three months that she lived with me. My boss is now giving her an expiration date to find a home-which is when she runs out of her bag of dog food. She maybe has a month at the most to find a forever home or she will be taken to a shelter. She is the sweetest dog I've ever met. So loving, so quirky, and the biggest personality! I really do love her and it would hurt my heart to have to see her in a shelter. She deserves SO much endless love from the right family or single owner. If there's anyone out there who doesn't have cats or a dog aggressive dog, & is looking for the biggest love bug to adopt, please consider Margot. Please give her a chance!%90%BE
