Luna is a very active and loving puppy between 6 months to 1 year old. She was given to a family by a lady who was moving into an apartment that didn't allow pets. however, the family has small children and Luna is a jumper and she nips when she jumps, (before she calms down), and so they had her on a very short rope. I gave them a longer rope and attached a long leash. Her stake is at the back of the yard and she has more room to move around but since their gates do not close she is destined to be kept on the rope for life. The mother is a single mom with 3 children and cannot afford to feed the dog. I have been feeding her for the past few weeks however, I am unemployed and a caregiver for my elderly mother. I have a scottish terrier named Buddy and I do well to feed him. I cannot afford to keep feeding Luna and the family has agreed that this is not a good life for Luna so I am trying to find her a loving home with someone who can give her the love, attention and training she needs. Update: The Oklahoma Animal Alliance has given me food and a dog house. They have also spayed and vaccinated her. Over the last couple of months she has grown some and doesn't nip when she jumps. She is a very loving dog and needs some attention. She would do well with older children and other young dogs to play with.
