About Punky

Punky is looking to retire his street card with a bit of old fashioned luck. Punky is short for Punctuation. Being black and white, he has unusual markings on his body. I have counted 4 periods, a semi colon, colon and exclamation mark! (Does not include cute smudge on his face) Estimated at 9 years old, he survived living in a colony of 5 in the industrial zone of East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He would beg and struggle for scraps from the warehouse employees and kind passersby. Thankfully, those days are over. It is now Punky's chance to find his furrever home. A home that is calm, stable and loving. A home that will be rodent and insect free because of his incredible mouser skills. A home with a backyard, so he can still enjoy the outdoors in a safe space. Perhaps a home with another cat. However, children or a dog might set him back as this once street cat would feel more comfortable with a more settled environment. Punky is very affectionate and very liberal with head-bonks, but he appreciates a gentle and skilled hand to pet him back. He is learning to trust freely, and those who understand his past will appreciate seeing him grow. Will you let Punky be the punctuation in your life?
