About Tika

Tika here is a 1-2 year old Pittie girl who was surrendered to SVASC when her families other dogs weren't accepting of her playful puppy behavior. Tika is a special girl; we believe that she may be deaf or have a very hard time hearing. Because of that, she needs a special home. Tika is great with other dogs, but because she cannot hear, is not suited for homes with dogs that are easily annoyed. Tika may not be able to tell when other dogs no longer want to play with her. Tika is good with kids too, but is best suited for a home without any very young children. Tika is house-trained and is making progress on leash training everyday. She loves car rides and rides beautifully. She's also crate-trained according to her previous owners. What I'm saying is that Tika is basically the best girl ever and will just need someone who has experience with deaf or hard of hearing dogs.
