About Banana Split

What could make a good day better? A good old fashioned Banana Split, of course! Banana Split is a wonderful, incredibly sweet 2-3 year old Pit Bull / Hound mix who is ready to land her dream home with you. Banana Split came to SVASC when her owner felt that he could no longer care for her and her friends anymore. Banana is a very sweet, but timid girl. She is a little slow to warm up, but once she gets to know you, she's a total snuggle bug! She loves to snuggle up in your lap and get pets. Banana Split is still learning how to walk on a leash and is still getting the hang of house-training, but she's getting better everyday! She just needs a family that can be patient with her as she learns. Banana Split previously lived with other dogs, so we know that she's good with them! While not a requirement, we feel that Banana would be happiest in a home with another dog in the house. She would likely do okay with older, calm children who can be respectful of her boundaries.
