About Lulu

I am very sad to have to find her a new home but with most of us in the house having disabilities, we took on more than we could handle with this energetic girl. She is very smart and trains well with food. She is a mix of German Shepherd, English mastiff, rodesian ridgeback. She definitely looks like her mix. She is 70 lbs and full grown so not as big as a shepherd or mastiff. She is lean and muscular. She needs a home where she can be walked daily and played with. She loves having a human to sleep with although she is a bit of a bed hog and may bark at you when you aren't paying attention to her. She still has puppy brain. She likes to play, play and play. She is a kissy dog and adores humans but she does jump and is very strong when walking her. She loves my local dog park and plays well with other dogs. She loves it because dogs there all wanna play with her. I think she would be better with a family that has experience with dogs and older children but absolutely no cats. We have had some horrible financial issues and are now in the process of having to move and downsize. I want to find a forever home for her because she deserves that and a great deal of love. I have three teenage daughters she has been around. We got her as a young pup and she knows several commands. She is very smart and learns fast with treats. She is a lovey dog and although it is hard for me to let her go, we have cats that were hear first and she doesn't mix well with them. We have tried crate training her but she has outgrown the crate we have. I am happy to let that crate go with her but she really needs the next size up as she has now stopped growing. She is house broken. We have a fenced in area for her. She loves bones, treats and especially peanut butter filled cow hooves. She is very playful and happy. She is micro chipped so I can give the info to her new owner...the company charges $5.00 monthly. She loves going to the dog park in Bangor and gets along with everyone. She loves to have other dogs to play with. She is not to be in any home with cats. She loves playing with her humans and being given their attention.
