If ever there was a perfect dog, here he is. Roscoe lost his sight to glaucoma at age 4 and lived like that for two years until coming to rescue. His eyes were very painful and infected, so the decision was made to do an enucleation. since then, he has blossomed. He uses his nose to find his way around. He loves to lie in the sun and walk around the yard. We have thought long and hard about offering him for adoption, but he is doing so well - is so affectionate - kind - grateful - that we thought just maybe there was someone looking for a dog to take to hospitals, nursing homes or to show handicapped children that a handicap doesn't stop you from living, and that person needs this dog. We will be very picky about choosing a home for Roscoe. He came to us as a dog who had given up. He now climbs on the couch to snuggle and loves to be strolled around the neighborhood. We are working on leash walking with a harness, and he has a Halo to wear in new places so he doesn't bump into things. We prefer he is an only dog or lives with another quiet, laid back, sweet dog. Cats don't bother him. MANY more pics and videos of him on the Little Star Chihuahua Rescue page on Facebook. He is 7 years old and weighs 10 pounds.
