About Ruby

Ruby is a wonderful 3.5 year old Kelpie who has lived with us since ahe was weeks old. She's such a good girl. She is so smart, fairly energetic but not to the point of needing to be always kept busy or constantly entertained. She hunts all the rodents on our property and earns her keep for sure!! When we had horses here she was amazing. She learned to round them up within minutes and would send them back to the pasture when they were out. Since the horses moved out, she has become extremely bored and is trying to herd our other dogs who Just want to be left alone. This has caused some fights and we are afraid she is going to become a bad dog without a herding job. I do not want to rehome her but I no longer have a steady job for her. I am looking for a loving home for her where she can work or be someone's 1:1 companion and go everywhere with them. I am not allowed to take her to work with me. She loves to go, rides in the car great, stays right beside me when we go places, but also is great on a leash when it's required.
