She had been in a home for a year without issue. We can't understand why a person would return their pet to an over crowded shelter because she defended herself but it is what it is. A month later she still has stiches as her wounds heal. I can't imagine how bad they were when she first came in. Bella is a super fabulous girl. She was a piece of cake to leash and walked very nicely outside. She showed zero reactivity passing dogs inside or once we were outside. That's pretty awesome for a dog with a traumatic attack. Bella knows sit and takes treats gently. She leaned in for pets and wasn't jumpy at all. She played nicely with toys and had a good overall happy energy about her. She is definitely four years young! Bella is rescue only but we know she deserves a chance to live beyond this crappy situation. Fosters and rescue partners Bella needs you, she is very urgent
