About Shelby

Shelby is a 6 year old female border collie/ retriever mix, about 65 pounds. She is a sweet girl, but needs an active, adventurous family. She is sweet and medium energy, good with other dogs. Cats unknown. She loves to howl and get all the other dogs into a howlfest! She will and has proven to be able to scale a 6' fence! So she can not be left alone in the yard. We are thinking actually she would be better off in an active home without a yard so that she is always on leash. Or adopted by a herding/working dog family. Not a wanna be but already entrenched into the herding/working dog world. Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
