About Nugget

Nugget is a loving, goofy velveteen hippo looking for a foster or forever home! He is approximately 1 year old, and loves to play in the yard with other dogs, or cuddle until he's sawing logs beside you. He doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body, and is eager to please anyone training him. Nugget has blue-silver fur with white patches on his paws and chest, and a white blaze on his face. He is stocky and still carries a lot of puppy fat. But watch out for his tail! He's a 55 lb happy baby and it's constantly wagging. A stray found in West Fort Worth on 5/29/19, Nugget was apparently abandoned by his original owners. He is heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and neutered. He knows the Sit command and is working on Stay, Shake, and leash etiquette. Nugget is extremely curious about cats and should not be left unsupervised with them at first, though this behavior is also trainable. Nugget needs an immediate rehome or foster.
