About Gigi

Gigi is a sweet, spunky, affectionate and happy-go-lucky girl. She loves walks and walks well on a leash. She also loves naps and can be a complete couch potato. Gigi LOVES to cuddle and get lots of pets from everyone she meets. She is very treat/food motivated and loves to learn new things. Gigi knows how to sit, lay down, come, shake, and has great recall. She is house and crate trained. Gigi is not good with other female dogs, but loves male dog companions. She would be great as an only dog or in a home with another male dog for her to play with. Gigi had a rough start to life but still has a heart full of so much love. She was found in October last year full of heartworms, fleas, ticks among other bugs on the streets of San Antonio. She had recently finished nursing, and she was skin and bones. Now, after months of TLC (and completing heartworm treatment like a CHAMP), Gigi is ready for anything. She used to get along great with my other female dog, but one day she just snapped and now they cannot be near each other. She still gets along SO WELL with my male dog. They love to run around the backyard chasing birds and lightning bugs. Gigi really is an incredible dog with an amazing, resilient spirit and I know she will make someone an excellent furry family member!
