About Ruby

Recently our daughter developed an allergy to pet dander; so it is forcing us to find another home for Ruby, sadly. We are heartbroken, as she is 10 & has been with us since she was 12 wks old. Ruby comes from a loving family in Suburban Philadelphia. She enjoys free rein of our home & is often found sleeping in the sun or curled up in a couch pillow. You would never guess she is 11 years old as she has lots of spunk, energy, & attitude! She asks to go potty, but also loves walks. She loves cheese, peanut butter & lots of special dog treats when she sits, shakes or lays down. Since she has grown up w/ our children, she tolerates them, although she's not a Golden Retriever; doesn't particularly like chaos. We believe she would enjoy the rest of her years w/ a mature older female. She needs LOTs of daily attention; will do best w/ someone who can make her the center their world or at least close to it! We will do what it takes for the right companion for Ruby as this is a hard decision.
